Advisor: Rebecca Schlegel

Rebecca is currently in her fourth year of pursuing her doctorate in Social and Personality Psychology under the advising of Dr. Rebecca Schlegel. Her research interests are the self and lay beliefs of the true self. Her primary research interests focus on self essentialist beliefs and their influence on perceptions of events in life.

She graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Psychology in the spring of 2021 from Texas A&M University. During the three years she was completing her bachelors, she also minored in Women and Gender Studies, worked as a laboratory manager, and was a honors student. Furthermore, she was a member of multiple different honors organizations including PsiChi (Psychology) and Triota (Gender Studies).
